THE BEACH GUESTHOUSE RULES & POLICY

Check-In

  • Starting at 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Please coordinate check-in time with host.

  • Guest have to be 18 or older to be able to check in without adult supervision.

  • All guests must to provide a valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) issued by any governmental agency 24 hours prior check-in.

  • Primary guest must present a valid identification (driver’s license or passport) as well a credit card upon check in.

  • Early check-in or luggage drop-off must be requested with at least 24 hours prior check-in date. Both subject to availability.

  • Some holidays have limited arrival time. Consult with host.

 

Check-Out

  • Before or at 11:00 AM. Please coordinate check-out with host.

  • Guests checking out before 9:00 AM please notify host to coordinate the keys drop off.

  • Guest checking-out after 11:00 AM would be charge, $40.00 per hour until 1:00 PM.  After 1:00 PM, the guest will be charged an extra night, plus the additional 2-hour fee. Guests will be escorted out of the premises.

  • Late checkout rates also available. Subject to availability. Guest must request it at least 24 hours prior check-out date.

  • Guests shall return the premises in the same conditions and or relatively close to the manner it was delivered to them. Property furniture and goods in the facilities must not leave the location at any time.

 

BOOKING AGREEMENT, RATES, GUESTS AND CANCELATION

 

Rate per night

  • Rate established is based on room type accommodation and number of guests in room using existing bedding.

  • All rates are subject to change without prior notice.

  • All rates are subject to a 7% tax.

  • Certain holiday dates require a minimum stay.

 

Payment Methods:

  • Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or debit card. Personal checks are not accepted.

  • We require a 50% deposit as a pre-payment of the total cost of the booking.

  • At check in the guest must pay the total balance of the stay.

  • Some bookings require the total payment of the stay before check-in.

  • At check-in the owner of the payment method used for the prepayment must be present with the credit card and identification.

  • A security deposit of $ 350.00 per apartment will be held to a credit card upon check-in. The deposit will be returned 24-48 hours after check-out/cleaning if the property is delivered in the same condition in which it was delivered, without any damage or loss to the property.

 

Room occupancy

  • The Beach Guesthouse, reserve the right of admission of extra guests and/or visitors according to the maximum occupancy permitted for each room type and property.

  • Only registered guests and number of guests listed on your booking are permitted to stay and to enjoy the facilities.

  • Infants and minors must be included in the total number of guests.

  • Do not exceed the maximum occupation established on you booking confirmation.

  • No room for additional beds. Bed/sleeping arrangements to those already established by the host are prohibited.

  • There will be a penalty of $150.00 per unregistered person/visitors established to the maximum number of guests in the confirmation of the stay per day/night.

  • No events or parties allowed without a separate agreement and event fee payment. Subject to availability.

  • We expect guests will use the premises only in a careful and lawful manner.

  • Guests will not use premises as a location for amateur or professional film/video without prior consent and arrangement with the hosts. Violating this rule will incur a penalty fee.

 

Cancelation Policy:

  • Cancellations or modifications to a reservation should be done 14 days or more prior check in date to guarantee a refund after pre-payment or total cost of the stay.

  • Cancellations or modifications done 13 days or less prior your check in date a penalty cancellation will apply (50% prepayment).

  • For each refund a 5% fee will be held from the prepayment.

  • If a guest doesn’t show to the stay, the total payment of the booking will be charge.

  • Other clauses may apply depending on the reservation method (see Cancellation Policy of Booking.com, Expedia or Airbnb).

  • If an early departure may occur before the date established in the reservation the money is not reimbursable.

  • Reservations selected by the guest and identified as non-refundable, do not have the right to refund in case of any cancellation.

 

INDOOR APARTMENT RULES

  • Pets aren’t allowed. Failure to comply with property rules entails the loss of the full amount of security deposit or a $250.00 penalty. We might require guests to leave the property without refund guarantee for failure to comply with the property's rules and policy.

  • Our apartments are NON-SMOKING zones. According to Law No. 40, a first fine of $ 250.00 USD will be applied to persons who break the law. Other infractions could consist of fines up to $ 2,000.00 USD. Smokers can enjoy their cigarette outdoors. Dispose of cigarettes and ashes in the trash or ashtrays outside the apartment.

  • Guest will be responsible of any damage to the property.

  • Guests shall keep the property in a good and clean condition. Please clean up. Take care of the property like it was your own home.

  • Damaged, stained, or lost bed linens and/or blankets will be charged. Penalty fee begins $25.00 USD per item.

  • Daily maid service is not included. One cleaning per stay is provided for +5 night bookings. Cleaning staff available if guests desire extra cleaning services during stay. Guests can notify us to schedule it. It has an extra cost per apartment and conditions of the property.

  • If kitchens and/or dishes are not clean at check-out a fee of $ 100.00 USD will be charged.

  • We will deduct additional cleaning fee from the security deposit if the house is left excessively dirt and disarray.

  • If anything is missing or broken, please contact us and we will be glad to help. Charges may apply for the reparation or substitution of lost object or the damages.

  • Unreturned or loss keys, garage clicker or access devices have a penalty fee beginning at $150.00 USD. If lock must be changed, the guests will also be charged for the service & substitution of the lock.

 

POOL LIABILITY & RULES

Liability: Guests renting this property with pool, acknowledges that there is no lifeguard on duty. Guests are responsible for their safety and the safety of any guests. Guests acknowledges that children or handicapped individuals should not be left unattended at or around the pool. Guests acknowledges the inherent risk in swimming or playing around the pool, patio, gazebos, and beach area. Guests assumes all responsibility for Guest's safe use of the pool and pool area. The Guests accepts fully all the risks involved.

 

Pool rules:

  • Pool hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

  • Rinse sand, dirt, oil, and excess of sunblock from body, or swimming cloth before getting to the pool. Guests can use outdoor showers.

  • Rinse sand, dirt, from items such as beach chairs, coolers, toys, life jackets or floating devices before getting to the pool or the apartment. Guests can use outdoor showers and hose.

  • Underage children are not allowed in the pool without parental supervision.

  • No diving, running, pushing, and shoving or rough play.

  • No glassware or food consumption in the pool.

  • Use Restrooms please.

  • Avoid loud music and speakers

  • The use of pool toys and inflatables should be consulted with host.

 

LIABILITY WAIVER: Property Owner assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items that belong to guests. This includes loses resulting directly or indirectly from natural events such as floods, storms, hurricanes, or other "Acts of Nature". We are not responsible of damages made to your vehicle in the parking facilities of each property.

 

This property rules and policy may be altered or changed without prior notification from the host.
